Integrated membrane bioreactor(MBR)
Overview:
MBR membrane bioreactor is a new type of wastewater treatment system that combines membrane separation technology and biological treatment technology.Replacing traditional biological treatment technology with membrane components in the secondary sedimentation tank at the end,maintaining high activated sludge concentrationin the bioreactor, increasing the organic load of biological treatment,thereby reducing the footprint of sewage treatment faciities,and reducing the amount of residual sludge by maintaining low sludge load. Mainly utilizing membrane separation equipment immersed in aerobic biological tanks to intercept activated sludge and macromolecular organic matter in the tank.The concentration of activated sludge(MLSS)in the membrane bioreactor system can be increased to 8000-10,000mg/L,or even higher;The sludge age (SRT)can be extended to over 30 days.
Technical process
In the anoxic state of pool A,denitrifying microorganisms use nitrate as ammonia nutrition to restoreand release molecular nitrogen(N₂)or nitrous oxide (N₂O)to achieve denitrification,while the organic carbon source material degrades intoacid substances,that is,the denitrification process is completed.
In the aerobic state of pool O,nitrite-oxidizing bacteria convert ammonia nitrogen in wastewater into nitrite,while nitrifying bacteria convert nitrite into nitrate,and organic carbon sourcemateria oxidizes to CO₂,that is,the nitrification process is completed.
