Overview:

The ion exchanger process requires the exchange agent to be placed inside the ion exchanger (orbed).The ion exchange capacity is restoredbyregeneration after the ion exchange agent fails.In orderto improve the economyand technical applicabilityofthe ion exchange process,diferent combinations of resins,diferent bed types and various ion exchange systems have been developed. Commonion exchangers are fixed beds(ionexchangers)and continuous beds.
The exchange agent installed in the ion exchanger is in a fixed position during theexchange process, such an ion exchanger is called a fixed bed,and the exchange treatment of raw water and the regeneration after resin failure are carried out separately in the same exchangerat differenttimes.Fixed bedion exchangerscan be divided into the singlebed,the double bed andthe mixed bedaccordingto the type of resin in the exchanger.A single bedis flledwith a single resin;The double bed is flled with strong and weak resins;The mixed bed is flledwith Yin and Yang resins.Under normal circumstances the fixed bed refersto the single bed type with fixed bed.
Continuous bed ion exchangers are exchangers in whichthe ion exchange resin operates dynamically and the exchange treatment of raw water and the regeneration after the resin failure are carried out simultaneously in different devices.

 

Uses:

lon exchangers are mainly used in the preparationof pure waterand highly pure water,and have been widely used in many industrial fields such as medicine,chemical industry,electronics,painting, beverage and medium and high pressure boiler water supply.It is used for boilers,thermal power stations,chemical,light industry,textiles,medicine,biology,electronics,atomic energy andpure water treatment,hard water softening required forthe industrial production ,deionized waterpreparation.It can also be used for decolorization and purification of food and drugs ,recovery of precious metals and chemical raw materials,and electroplating wastewater treatment.
